Shahi Snan Dates along with Corona virus travel safety guidelines issued by Government of Uttarakhand  are being listed for Benefit of Hindu Devotees & pilgrims planning to visit Haridwar City.   

The 1st Shahi Snan (Royal Bath) during the ongoing Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2021 was celebrated today with much spiritual fanfare and religious festivities and attended by Millions of Devotees.

 The Next Shahi Snan is scheduled on 12th April, 2021 during the auspicious day of Somvati Amavasya. It holds special significance as it’s believed that the moon is factor of water and by taking holy dip on this day in Pious River Ganges you’ll attain Amrit on Amavasya.

The 3rd Shahi Snan falls on 14th April coinciding with Mesh Sankranti & Baisakh festivals. As per Hindu mythology the water of river Ganges becomes Nectar on this day which by taking A dip can cleanse your body and soul from all sins of life. 

The 4th and the concluding Shahi Snan will take place on 27th April, 2021 on the day of Chaitra Poornima also referred to as day of Amrit Yoga.   

Pilgrims and Visitors planning to visit Kumbh Mela Haridwar 2021 for holy dip in River Ganges should strictly adhere to below Travel Guidelines issued by Government of Uttarakhand in view of Corona Virus Pandemic.

Online Registration: 

 It’s Mandatory for all visitors to register their credentials and health records with Government of Uttarakhand on their website https://dsclservices.org.in/kumbh/

Permission to Enter Haridwar city will be allowed only after the application has been approved online by the state government. 

Negative RTPCR Test Report:

 It’s compulsory for passengers and devotees to carry Covid Negative RTPCR test report, the report shouldn’t be older than 72 hours prior to their entry in Haridwar City. The visitors can carry digital version of the negative report on their mobile phones, alternatively print out of the hard copy of the report can be presented to security officials at borders. 

 Medical Certificate: 

 Passengers are required to bring their vaccine certificate/medical certificate issued by their closest Community Health centre/District Hospital or A registered Medical college from their origin state confirming their Covid 19 negative condition.

Face Mask: 

It’s mandatory for devotees to wear face mask at all times in public places and strict police action will be taken against violators.

Arogya Setu App: 

 All visitors entering Haridwar City to participate in Kumbh Mela 2021 are encouraged to download Arogya setu app on their mobile phones for easy tracing and tracking of Covid19 patients in case of emergency.
