Against all odds, Delhi does the unthinkable and A 1000 Bed Coronavirus Exclusive Hospital becomes ready & Operational in only 11 Days 

The Brand New DRDO Hospital in Delhi Cantonment Area, Exclusively for treatment of #coronavirus & #covid19 patients with 1000 beds capacity was inaugurated last week near Palam Airport and is built on Air force land, Home Minister, Defence Minister, Health Minister, Delhi Chief Minister Mr Kejriwal & DRDO chief were present at the occasion. 

The hospital will be operated by Armed Forces Medical services and Salt to Automobile to Chemical to Hotel Conglomerate Tata Sons also partnered with DRDO in this noble cause 

  The 1000 bed fully air conditioned facility with 250 ICU Beds  has been named as Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel- The Iron Man of India 

And As a tribute to Indian Army Soldiers who lost their lives protecting the nation in Galwan Valley, it’s decided by the DRDO team to name various wards in the memory of patriots – LIKE The ICU ward has been dedicated in the memory of Col B Santosh Babu
